Friends of Metro Dance is a non-profit organization established in 1995 that supports the Dance Division of Metro Parks and Recreation beyond what the city of Nashville can provide by funding performances, teaching artists, special programs and scholarships for students. Friends of Metro Dance encourages those who believe in the value of dance in Nashville to join in support of Metro Dance by making a contribution, attending performances and promoting the program and its benefits throughout the community.
